• Students who miss a HW assignment are responsible for recording the missed assignment on the provided log sheet in their binder.
• Students will have one day to turn-in the HW assignment for partial credit. After one day, late assignments will not be accepted for credit.
• Homework will be checked daily and graded on completion and evidence of effort based on a 10-point system.
o 10 – Complete/Evidence of Effort

o 5 – One Day Late & Complete/Evidence of Effort

Absences:
• Students are responsible for obtaining all missed classwork and homework from the “While You Were Out” Bin upon their return to school. They should also check-in with Ms. Ireland and get the class notes from a classmate.
• Students are allotted the same number of days they were absent to complete missing homework assignments for credit. For example, 1 day absent = 1 day to make-up the homework.
• Make-up homework must be submitted with our heading to the “Turn-In” Bin. If it is not turned in by the due date, it will be considered late and will receive a zero.
• If students miss a quiz or test, they must set up a time with Ms. Ireland to make it up.
